Mission
Mi Gente Latinx Student Cultural Center is here to provide and maintain a safe space and supportive environment for all individuals and communities to promote a greater historical, social, and cultural awareness of Latinidad. As well as advocating for the representation, retention, graduation, and participation of Latine individuals within the University community and administrative structures. And engage students and faculty in dialogue about the issues affecting their education and the daily lives of our communities.

We provide a space where students can connect with peers, relax, and work. Located in Coffman Memorial Union, Room 211, our doors are open 10 am - 6 pm, join us during our Latine-based events, promoted on our socials.

Membership Benefits
Membership is open to all students, faculty, and staff at the University of Minnesota. By regularly attending Mi Gente's programmed events, utilizing our space and resources, and communicating with us in the Cultural Center. General members Benefit from opportunities for networking, entertainment, and fostering a sense of community at the University of Minnesota.
