University of Minnesota Cyber Defense Team is a cybersecurity student organization that promotes cybersecurity skills along with workshops, competitions, presentations, and social gatherings. Within Cyber Defense Team will be a team of 12 which will qualify and compete in the annual regional and national Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC).
