VegWeek: Vegan Grocery Run

Vegan shopping made easy!

Join our veg community in action as we pick out groceries and supplies essential to thriving on a plant-based diet! We will be visiting one of the well-stocked grocery stores accessible by public transport and browsing for vegan essentials. Officers of CAA will both conduct this Grocery run and serve as the guides.

This Grocery Run serves as kick-off to the highly anticipated VegWeek. Here, officers of CAA hope to meet members of the community and start to foster the relationships that will bloom meaningfully through the course of the week. Let us show you how vegan shopping isn’t expensive, complicated, or boring!

We will be meeting at the ground floor of Coffman Memorial Union, and will be using public transit to head to the grocery store. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience first-hand how to pick out supplies for a healthy diet, to ask our community any questions about the common challenges they face, and to ask for resources in facilitating a transition towards a more plant-based diet.
