Missions and purposes: Create a united community for all members who are interested in Vietnamese culture Help new Vietnamese international students get adapted quickly to the new environment Raise awareness of the University of Minnesota to prospective students in Vietnam Promote Vietnamese tradition, customers, and culture among the University community Principle activities, events, or programs: Our main yearly events including but are not limited to Kick-off, Sports Day, and Tet Celebration VISA also collaborates with other student groups to organize events To become a member: One must submit an online membership application form and be interviewed by current Board members. Current Board will then determine qualified candidates to be the new VISA leaders. Otherwise, VISA welcomes everyone to participate in our events and volunteer to host them successfully.
