About Us
CHAARG stands for changing health attitudes + actions to recreate girls [+ others]. We are focused on liberating students from the elliptical while working on improving their mental + physical health. We are a community on campus that empower + lifts each other up. We have weekly workouts every Tuesday around between 5-8pm (the workouts are usually around an hour long but the start time varies by week). Each weekly workout we work with different studios around the Minneapolis area to try different workouts so members can find their fit. We also have socials once to twice a month where our members have the opportunity to connect with each other outside from working out. This can be watching a movie, craft night, studying, cooking/baking together, tie dying, + more! Members also have the opportunity to be in a small group which meets weekly + they choose based off their schedule ++ availability. This is a group of 4-9 members that has a small group coordinator to lead each session! This allows for a more intimate sense of community where you workout, go get coffee, or have a movie night together!
How to get Involved?
Everyone is welcome to join! The first three weeks of each semester will be recruitment. Anyone can come to these events for free to find out if CHAARG feels like a good fit! After recruitment our members buy a membership that includes weekly workouts plus socials and small group! Memberships can be purchased here.
