About Us
The Queer Asian American Coalition (QAAC)'s mission is to: - Create community, allyship, and awareness through dialogue - Empower the intersectionalities of Asian American and queer-identifying folx - Educate and spread awareness to those that do not identify as Asian American and queer Above all, our group values community and education. As stated in our mission, we strive to create an inclusive environment for people of all identities regardless of race, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, and class, among other aspects. We aim to do this by hosting events as our principal activities, in the hopes of facilitating meaningful conversation and relationships. Our events range from fun, interactive socials to more serious educational workshops to promote discussion and learning.
