About Us

Japanese Social Justice Organization (JSJO) has three purposes. 1. We discuss social justice issues to deepen our understanding of the issues from different perspectives and backgrounds and raise awareness, especially among young adults who can strive to change society. 2. We help students practice their language skills through discussions and language exchange activities. 3. We provide a community for all students. We not only talk about social issues but also build friendships and make connections.

1. We discuss and debate Japanese social justice issues to deepen our understanding of the issues and raise awareness. Like any other country, there are many unresolved and rising issues in Japan. JSJO was established to raise awareness in them, especially among young adults who can strive to change society.

2. We help students with their language skills. There are both Japanese and non-Japanese students, and members can help each other brush up on their language skills through discussions, debates, and language exchange activities.

3. We provide a community for any students including international students and exchange students. We not only talk about social issues but also build friendships and make connections.
