Root & STEM is volunteer group for undergraduate women in STEM programs at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. We organize monthly social and outreach events where STEM students can find connection and build community through shared experiences and interests. By connecting our members to STEM-related volunteering opportunities in the Twin Cities area, we aim to support STEM participation and diversity within the greater community. Additionally, we partner with the U of M RecWell to host an annual youth summer program - called Rooted in STEM - which provides engaging activities to inspire a love for STEM in kids aged 9-12.
