Mission
The mission of the Counseling Psychology Club is to foster the next generation of counselors, therapists, researchers, and mental health professionals, and we plan to do this by stimulating interest in the field of counseling psychology, providing social activities/events for members, and to provide information and resources to aspiring counselors so that they have the connections to get to where they want to be.

Membership Benefits
Once you join the Counseling Psychology Club, you are able to participate in volunteering events that our club may host, which could be making blankets for hospital patients or helping therapy dogs at the Animal Humane Society. These activities provide opportunities to any student (especially those interested in counseling) to help out before they get the merits to actually partake in counseling.
Additionally, you could interact with other club members, who share your interests. Similarly, you will also be participating in other events that focus on the development of counseling knowledge, for example, case analyses, movie analyses, or talks from professionals.
As long as you are a member of the Counseling Psychology club, you will have the opportunity to talk to counselors in depth about their jobs, their insights, and what future counseling jobs are like.
We hope that by starting this club, more students who are interested in counseling psychology have a supportive community where students can interact with each other freely and be able to learn and build connections with each other.
