Mission The mission of the International Student Pre-Health Group (ISPHG) is to empower international students in STEM by providing them with the knowledge, resources, and connections necessary to successfully navigate the graduate school application process, regardless of the health professional program they intend to pursue.ISPHG recognizes the cultural adjustments international students face when transitioning to college in the United States, as well as the systemic disparities and challenges they encounter when applying for health professional programs, graduate school, research opportunities, and summer programs. Additionally, the restrictions imposed by F1 visa status often limit access to work and a variety of experiences critical for career progression.ISPHG strives to address these challenges by fostering a supportive community and offering resources that help international students overcome barriers, gain valuable experiences, and build meaningful community connections.
