Who We Are
STRIVE Medical is a student-led organization at the University of Minnesota dedicated to hands-on innovation in medical technology. Our members come from diverse backgrounds including engineering, computer science, and the health sciences. We work together to design, build, and test medical devices that address real gaps in patient care.

We bring students and healthcare professionals together to identify unmet clinical needs and create market-ready medical technology solutions. In short, we exist to turn ideas into practical, affordable devices while training the next generation of med-tech innovators.
Our Process
STRIVE stands for Seek, Target, Research, Innovate, Verify, Execute.
This process guides every stage of our development, from identifying clinical challenges to refining prototypes for testing. Each project goes through structured design, feedback, and iteration to ensure that our solutions are both creative and evidence-based.
