About Us
The mission of Medical Laboratory Sciences Student Government it to provide faculty-led general education workshops about medical laboratory science. Promote intercultural competence in Med lab science students by hosting workshops, speaker panels, and spaces that allow for reflection, insight, and application of different perspectives and practices of laboratory science. Provide networking opportunities for pre-health students to connect with each other and laboratory professionals. Foster a greater sense of community amongst students in the Medical Laboratory Sciences program by hosting panels, events, and socials. Promote relationships between pre-health students, community laboratorians, and scientists. Motivate students in the program to strive for excellence and provide resources to support student growth and success. Encourage students interested in the program to explore and learn through the sharing of first-hand accounts and individual experiences.
