About Us
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is an international organization that promotes the art, science & practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe. The goal of the ASME Student Section at the UMN is to promote these same values as well as to provide a community for engineering students at the University of Minnesota. ASME hosts social and professional development events throughout the year, which are open to all engineering students at the UMN. The student section also holds general meetings, section design competitions, volunteer opportunities, and more!
