About Us
Tesla Works is currently in the process of being restarted. If you want to help out or keep up to date join our discord: https://discord.gg/ZU22GVMDrn Below is the description of the club when it was running at full capacity and we hope to slowly restart the different aspects of the club listed below starting in spring 2026. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Tesla Works is a dynamic student group dedicated to fostering creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning. Committed to the spirit of experimentation and collaboration, members are given the unique opportunity to design, build, and showcase various projects, emphasizing the importance of practical experience in various domains. Activities and Opportunities: Individual Project Sponsorship: Tesla Works proudly sponsors students who wish to embark on their own individual or group projects. Not only do they provide funding, but they also promote teamwork, allowing students to collaborate with peers, combining diverse skills and perspectives. Microcourses: Throughout the week, members can participate in specialized microcourses. These compact sessions are designed to provide skill-building tutorials in areas like welding, soldering, robotics, and web development. This ensures that every member is equipped with the knowledge and skillset to bring their ideas to life. Friday Makernights: Beyond the technical realm, Tesla Works recognizes the importance of community building and connection. Every Friday, Tesla Works meets in Anderson Labs to work on projects, meet new people, and socialize. Every week there will be a different workshop, project, or build competition to work on with other makers on campus! Telsa Works Projects: Tesla Works also runs 1-3 projects every year that require a large community effort to create. One of these projects is Lightshow where every winter a expansive light-show is sequenced with music. Tesla Works epitomizes the ideal student group for those who have a passion for creating and learning through doing. The blend of technical training and community activities ensures members not only acquire valuable skills but also form lasting bonds and memories.
