Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is an extremely effective martial art style in which technique and skill can allow smaller opponents to defeat larger, stronger opponents. Our club is committed to offering basic level instruction in a safe and controlled training environment for anyone who is interested in learning. UMN BJJ hosts training sessions on weeknights in addition to periodic seminars with experts from the Twin Cities community. In addition to fundamental training, our curriculum includes self-defense, competition prep, and fitness improvement. Shoot us an email at bjj@umn.edu to get involved! Our club welcomes all U of M students to train with us. Current practice times are from 6-7pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights at DNA BJJ, 403 SE 8th Ave, Minneapolis (come through the doors under the Andrew Riverside Church sign)
