About Us

The UMN Philosophy Club is an academic and social organization for undergraduates interested in learning about and discussing philosophical topics with other UMN students. We meet weekly to discuss a predetermined topic, with opportunities to join additional, optional reading groups. Meetings start with a short presentation from either a club member or a professor. After the presentation, we move into a discussion between club members. Finally, we conclude by discussing and voting on important matters for the club. Each meeting is around 2 hours. Anyone interested in philosophy is encouraged to join, regardless of year, major, or past experience!
