About Us
Dhoom Dance Crew is a multicultural dance group with an aim to combine different dance styles from all over the world while maintaining the technique and cultural integrity of the dance forms. Dhoom is a co-ed, multicultural, performance-based dance group on campus. Some styles include Bollywood, Bhangra, hip-hop, Indian classical, and etc. In the past, we have performed at major events like Jazba, Campus Charity events, Indian Student Association events as well as major off-campus events. This group creates a fun and positive environment by performing, bonding, and practicing. This is a University South Asian team so diversity, equity, and inclusion play a big role. We believe that embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion as organizational values is a way to intentionally make space for positive outcomes to flourish.
