The Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) was founded in 1972 at Florida A&M University and has since grown into a national organization dedicated to serving the underserved and advancing diversity in pharmacy. Guided by visionary leaders over the decades, SNPhA has built a legacy of advocacy, education, and community service. Today, under the leadership of Dr. Kimberly Lewis, SNPhA continues to empower student pharmacists nationwide to make a lasting impact on healthcare.
SNPhA is an educational service association of pharmacy students and ALL health professional students who are concerned about the profession of pharmacy, healthcare issues, and the poor minority representation in these areas. The purpose of SNPhA is to plan, organize, coordinate, and execute programs geared toward the improvement of the health, educational, and social environment of minority communities.
