Meet the Board!

Hi! I’m a senior studying computer science with a huge passion for animals as well as volunteering! Outside of school I love bouldering, hiking, traveling, and photography. I also of course love animals, besides having a dog of my own I have done plenty of dog and cat sitting, worked at a dog daycare, training, and boarding facility for two summers, and have participated in the FETCH program training future service dogs. I look forward to being part of a community with similar passions for helping animals!

Hi! I'm a senior studying animal science with an emphasis in pre-veterinary sciences. I've been working at a rescue for over a year and within that year I adopted both of my cats. Outside of school and work I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with my friends. In my free time, I like to pet sit and love to spend extra time at work hanging out with the animals. I'm very excited about this club and all the good it's going to do!

Bio

Hello! I am a sophomore studying animal science, I have always loved working with local shelters and sanctuaries to help animals in need! I enjoy the outdoors, reading, movie nights, and volunteering! Besides from the animals pictured I have 3 dogs at home as well as another cat! I worked at a humane society in high school. I was part of the FETCH program (training future service dogs) and have now branched out and am training on my own now. I am so excited to be in this club and can’t wait to meet everyone!

Hi! I’m a junior studying Animal Science with a pre-vet emphasis. I have always loved animals and have recently discovered my passion for volunteering! Outside of school I love reading, drawing, exploring, and taking photos. I have a huge passion for all animals, with most of my current experience being with dogs, cats, and some production animals, but I hope to venture into the world of exotic animals as my career progresses. As for my volunteering experience, I have been part of the FETCH program for three years now (since my freshman year) and am currently training my 5th dog (Peetie <3). I also volunteer at the Como Zoo and the Animal Humane Society. I am so excited to be part of the A Cause for Paws community and am looking forward to meeting you all!!
