Campus Cleanup Crew's mission is to make campus a cleaner, more beautiful place for everyone to enjoy. Our main activity will be cleaning up local parks, streets, and other unkept areas. We will also host events to discuss what areas of campus need service and brainstorm initiatives that aim to keep our campus pristine. There is no membership application and anyone is welcome to take part in this club. All you need to do is reach out to us through email (campuscc@umn.edu) and show up to clean! For our group, activism means taking initiative to make necessary, social change. All too often we see areas of campus cluttered with trash that can be blown into the Mississippi River which flows directly into our oceans. We want to alleviate this problem and bring awareness to it. We have pride in our campus and want everyone that visits the UMN-TC to know that we want our campus, as well as the world, to be a clean place. Our club will create a fun and positive environment for our members by making a beneficial impact on our campus, as well as the world, while also meeting new people and building community within our school.

Founded in 1993, the Ethiopian Student Association strives to bring awareness and understanding of Ethiopian culture, as well as representation, to the University of Minnesota. We seek to provide a social atmosphere where the student body and faculty can meet, interact, enjoy cultural events, and collaborate with other organizations in the name of intercultural understanding, and act as a resource to current and inquiring students at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
Through the use of campus resources, we create safe discussion spaces, where we can learn from one another and have meaningful conversations. We foster a healthy educational environment where we aim to represent our culture and give back to the community through service and events including cultural galas, bi-weekly group discussions, cross-culture collaboration events, an annual cultural show, sporting events, and fundraisers for orphanages/schools in Ethiopia.

Program: Phi Sigma Kappa was founded in order to promote brotherhood, stimulate scholarship, and develop character - our fraternity's three cardinal principles.

About us: Phi Sigma Kappa began on March 15, 1873, at Massachusetts Agricultural College in Amherst (now the University of Massachusetts Amherst) by six sophomores (referred to as The Founders). Phi Sigma Epsilon merged with Phi Sigma Kappa in 1985, which was the largest merger of Greek-letter fraternities.

ABOUT US
UCC was founded in 2011 by nine undergraduate students: Razvan Stanici, Darick Leach, Justin Tan, Nicholas Hammes, Steven Ochs, Alen Osmanovic, Austin Loeb, Jennifer Beasley, and Vince Phan. They noticed students at the University of Minnesota, although extremely intelligent, lacked the knowledge and resources to compete against top tier business school students in case interviews. Several consulting firms mentioned that University of Minnesota students have the analytical abilities, but were behind on the soft skill and the ability to crack the case interviews. The founding team saw an opportunity to create an organization which could offer the support in building and refining those skills. It was established with the following three main goals as a focus:

TO EDUCATE
UCC will offer students an opportunity to learn more about the consulting industry and the diverse opportunities in the profession. This will be done through organizing information sessions with firms, having presentation on different aspects of the world of consulting, and creating an open environment for all people to ask questions.

TO OFFER INSIGHT
UCC will provide a venue for students to engage with leading consulting professionals and learn about their company and the services they provide. This will be done through inviting consultants as guest speakers, site visit, question and answer sessions, and resources for members on the website.

TO FACILITATE
UCC will prepare students for the selection and interview process of consulting firms. This will be done through case interview workshops, an annual Case Competition, and Mock Case interviews.

Our organization advocates on behalf of UNICEF: spreading awareness about the challenges children face around the world. From struggling every day to survive, going to school, or escaping conflict and disaster. We also fundraise on behalf of UNICEF Clubs: UNICEF has helped save more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization. They operate solely on voluntary donations. UNICEF Club at UMN will fundraise in support of children’s survival, access to safe water, nutrition, health care, and protection from violence, exploitation and abuse. On top of that, we volunteer in the community to help ensure that every child is safe, healthy and has access to a quality education. We also provide social activities and events for the membership.
