ASL Club provide an opportunity for students to practice their American Sign Language (ASL) skills with individuals of all levels in a casual setting through social activities and club events. We also aim to create opportunities for individuals to learn more about Deaf Culture and to get involved with the local Deaf Community.
No ASL experience required!

Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) is dedicated to the struggle for self-determination and liberation for the Palestinian people and all other indigenous, occupied, and dispossessed people, globally. SJP holds events, ranging from political education to cultural celebration. We also work to further the BDS movement's goals of divesting from Israeli corporations and academic spaces and are active at all levels of campus in our efforts.


To get involved with SJP, we welcome you to message us on Instagram (sjpumn) or Facebook (SJP UMN). You can also email us at sjp.umn@gmail.com. At the end of the fall semester, we post applications for spring interns. At the end of the spring semester, board applications are opened. We welcome anybody who is passionate about global liberation, so do not worry about your level of knowledge about Palestine, specifically -- we will all learn together! SJP strives to create a welcoming and caring space, which promotes liberation for all. In our work, we hope to center those struggling against imperialism, state violence, incarceration, and whiteness and are struggling for the uplifting and liberation of those who face the worst of these brutal institutions. In any capacity that you are able to join us, we will actively dedicate ourselves to uplifting each other and our joint struggles.

Our organization advocates on behalf of UNICEF: spreading awareness about the challenges children face around the world. From struggling every day to survive, going to school, or escaping conflict and disaster. We also fundraise on behalf of UNICEF Clubs: UNICEF has helped save more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization. They operate solely on voluntary donations. UNICEF Club at UMN will fundraise in support of children’s survival, access to safe water, nutrition, health care, and protection from violence, exploitation and abuse. On top of that, we volunteer in the community to help ensure that every child is safe, healthy and has access to a quality education. We also provide social activities and events for the membership.
