Mission
ADworld is a group of UMN students sharing interest in advertising and marketing. We conduct weekly meetings to promote productive discussions and produce creative deliverables.

The core value of ADworld is “creativity.” We foster creativity through various activities and marketing presentations. The group further promote the creative community by sharing our deliverables through social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and Blog.

ADworld pursues academic excellence by sharing knowledge on advertising and marketing through weekly discussions. In addition, we practice real experiences by working as the marketing agency for real clients. Furthermore, we encourage members to participate in various competitions and activities to gain field experiences.

In addition to academic activities, we create an enjoyable environment through networking with industry-related personnel and social gathering within club members. We regularly communicate with former ADworld members who are working in the related field to get advice and understand the market trend. Also, in addition to regular meetings, we hold many social gatherings to strengthen cohesiveness.

These are our regular activities:

Real Client Marketing Project: Adworld conducts marketing projects for real clients to promote their businesses and increase their sales. As a marketing agency, we analyze their marketing strategies and give solutions. In addition, ADworld plans and carries out promotions through various channels.

Public Campaigns: We organize public campaigns to attract social attention on specific topics. Throughout the process, we practice planning skills and gain experience implementing it.

Marketing Competition: Our members participate in marketing competitions as a team to gain real field experiences such as corporate strategy, marketing plan, and promotional methodologies.

Marketing / Advertisement Related Topic Discussion: ADworld conducts in-depth academic discussions on topics related to advertising or marketing to accumulate knowledge and understand the trend of the industry.

The mission of Anselm House is to promote the integration of the Christian faith with our studies at the university and to foster a community of students that seek lifelong engagement of faith and vocation.

We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord over every aspect of Creation, including our fields of study—whether it be business, law, medicine, STEM, or liberal arts.

We believe the rich intellectual and moral resources of the Christian tradition crucially transform how we:

- pursue our academic studies
- understand ourselves, our vocations, and our society
- engage with the broader university community.

We view ourselves as a resource to other campus ministries, aiming to help students investigate the Christian faith deeply and bring the Truth, Beauty, and Goodness of Christ into the University.

We hope to promote the health of the Christian presence on campus as a whole so that the light of Christ may be seen within the public sphere of the University of Minnesota. Anselm House desires to see students formed into the image of Christ in their character and all of life.

We recognize that our mission is subordinate and complementary to the mission of the Church. We seek to come alongside local churches in preparing future Christian leaders, cultivating an ecumenical (i.e., across denominations) community that helps form students' character in preparation for future callings.

As the "student arm" of Anselm House, Anselm House Students (#2295), we seek to engage the university student community in the mission of Anselm House.

We organize weekly by-students, for-students programming (Fridays@4), where we bring in Christian leaders who speak to the theme of "connecting faith and knowledge with all of life."

We've also organized more light-hearted events, like game nights to foster community and connection, or excursions in nature, where we can discuss our faith and our lives while taking in the natural beauty around us.

Any undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Minnesota can get involved! We invite you to visit our study center, Melrose Station (720 Washington Ave SE), open weekdays from 10am to 5:30pm. Stop by for a place to study, make new friends, and learn more about events and opportunities happening at Anselm House.

We are a passionate group of people who are looking to use our love for the science of health, well-being, and fitness to optimize our health and the health of others. We believe that death and disease begin long before they actually occur and instead of waiting for these events to occur, we are taking action now. But we want to go a step further than just preventing diseases and begin optimizing our health and well-being. We turn to science and the best, most trustworthy in the business to find the principles and methods for optimization.

Each week we will listen to a podcast and review it. We will also bring in our own research and make our own protocols for optimizing health and well-being. You will get the opportunity to explore your own interests to share with the club. We are particularly drawn to the prominent figure, Andrew Huberman, and will look to him as well as many more experts as a model. We will also hear from guest speakers, and participate in volunteering events, and fundraisers. This is not a club where the officers present each week but rather a way for everyone to be engaged and express their passions and interests.
