Founded in 2023, the University of Minnesota's Artificial Intelligence Innovators Society immerses members in AI applications within the workforce and industry. Axiom is a literary magazine at the U specializing in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, ART, mathematics). We’re looking for any type of art, whether it be visual (painting, digital art, sculpture, etc.) or literary (poetry, prose, etc.), as long as there is an element of STEM in your work, you’re eligible to submit to Axiom! Your work can be as detailed as a lab report or as subtle as a painting/poem about an element of nature. We encourage creativity and do not limit submissions to just those who are pursuing a degree in STEM. If you have a passion for the natural world, Axiom would love to receive your work.

Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) club at the University of Minnesota is part of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers Minnesota Chapter, which is nationwide grassroots nonprofit organization that gives current and potential hunters & anglers attending the University a foundation to enrich their conservation mindset and become active in civic engagement as it relates to public lands, waters, and wildlife. BHA gives aspiring hunter and anglers attending the University the tools and knowledge necessary to obtain a license and to hunt or fish safely, legally and ethically. Our goal is to connect University students to Backcountry Hunters & Anglers chapters to grow the BHA community, recognizing BHA's youthful energy is key to fostering the next generation of conservation-minded hunter, anglers and public land advocates.



The club will conduct meetings once a month during the academic year. The time and locations are to be determined, but will be announced through email. Bangladeshi Undergraduate Student Association Group is a cultural group for undergraduates from Bangladesh who seek to belong to a community where they can connect and share their beliefs and values, simultaneously their goals, ideas, and problems throughout their college years. Our aim as a cultural group is not only to belong somewhere but also to share our history, values, and culture among the undergraduate students on campus, which can be both a learning and fun experience to have. We welcome all prospective Bangladeshi students on campus and help them navigate their place in the community and campus, especially international students for whom it is their first time to be in a new place living alone which might affect them slowly or suddenly. We want to be there for them when they face these challenges. However, this club is not only for Bangladeshis to enjoy and belong to. It is open to everyone as it is a cultural club to experience and appreciate.

Beginners with Brushes’ mission is to provide a relaxing and comfortable environment for all members to practice creativity through painting and socializing safely.

Once a week we will be holding an in-person painting club. Paint and supplies will be distributed and provided at each meeting. During our time together, members can socialize and paint/ stimulate their brains through their desired creative activities.

Our community values are focused on mental health and wellness. We support mental health by strongly encouraging creativity and community. The goal of this art club is for students of all majors and abilities to come together and support each other in being creative. Many of our leaders and members are coming from STEM majors and do not have many opportunities to express creativity in an accepting space. We create a strong community by encouraging all artists and focusing on the creative process and not the outcome. We create a fun and positive environment by playing music, not setting expectations, allowing room for error and growth, and making it a priority to socialize and relax.

The Carlson Investment Banking Network (CIBN) aims to prepare and assist students in all aspects of investment banking recruitment. The organization is selective and runs an application process at the start of the fall and spring semesters. Each selected member will be paired with mentors who have successfully navigated the recruiting process and accepted an offer to work at an investment bank. Additionally, all members will receive access to CIBN's proprietary training materials. CIBN also has an expansive alumni network that is willing to help members. It can be challenging for individuals who are new to playing tennis to find a supportive community that can help them improve their skills. Unfortunately, many beginners face a lack of suitable platforms and opportunities to enhance their abilities, which can lead to frustration and even quitting from tennis. Even intermediate players may not always be willing to play with novices and offer guidance. While school tennis clubs can be helpful, they may not be the best fit for everyone.

To address this issue, we plan to create a group and offer targeted training activities that are tailored to the needs of our members. Our first step is to work with each member to determine a schedule that suits their availability for training or play multiple times per week. We will also arrange for coaching outside of regular class sessions to focus on specific skills and techniques. By training plans based on the needs of our members, we can ensure that everyone receives the appropriate amount of time and attention to progress effectively. Additionally, group coaching sessions will be available at a more affordable price, allowing beginners to make rapid progress and improve their skills if needed.

The purpose of Christians United for Israel at UMN is to show Christian support for the State of Israel and provide a campus forum through which its members and every UMN student can speak and act with one voice in support of the state of Israel. The details of carrying out the purpose will be decided by the active members and will vary according to the needs and wants of the members. Such activities may include but are not limited to Leaders Meeting and an annual Night to Honor Israel event, Bible studies, music, films, food, educational workshops, activism, and other events that display support for Israel. CUFI - UMN seeks to create an atmosphere of openness, discussion, dialogue, and education. CUFI - UMN will seek to promote a fair and balanced framework to understand Israel and the Middle East. Our objective is to give students an opportunity to learn about waterfowl, conservation and fundraising, while encouraging students to meet others sharing similar interests in conservation and waterfowl. We host meetings to discuss and plan conservation, waterfowl, and events to support Ducks Unlimited. We host events to raise money for the Minnesota Ducks Unlimited Chapter. We work to make a difference in the conservation of wildlife habitat, and we encourage anyone with these interests to join our dedicated group of members in helping us do so. Open to a limited number of UMN students, FETCH members are able to explore and learn more about the service animal industry, assist with the hands-on training of service dogs, and volunteer with Can Do Canines, a local service animal provider. Past students have provided short-term fostering and trained their own service dogs in-training in their residence halls or campus apartments.

FETCH participants will work in pairs to care for and train a service dog that lives in their room with them for a portion of the fall and/or spring semester. All supplies, food, and veterinary care are provided by the program, so there is not an additional cost for members. Participants are required to attend several bi-monthly training sessions while they are working with the service animal.

FETCH Club is an extension of the FETCH LLC located at Bailey Hall in St. Paul.
