Mission
Campus Cleanup Crew's mission is to make campus a cleaner, more beautiful place for everyone to enjoy. Our main activity will be cleaning up local parks, streets, and other unkept areas. We will also host events to discuss what areas of campus need service and brainstorm initiatives that aim to keep our campus pristine. There is no membership application and anyone is welcome to take part in this club. All you need to do is reach out to us through email (campuscc@umn.edu) and show up to clean! For our group, activism means taking initiative to make necessary, social change. All too often we see areas of campus cluttered with trash that can be blown into the Mississippi River which flows directly into our oceans. We want to alleviate this problem and bring awareness to it. We have pride in our campus and want everyone that visits the UMN-TC to know that we want our campus, as well as the world, to be a clean place. Our club will create a fun and positive environment for our members by making a beneficial impact on our campus, as well as the world, while also meeting new people and building community within our school.

We serve as a Catholic resource that allows students to not only develop an individual Catholic faith, but to also form relationships with fellow students based on a shared interest in the Catholic faith. We provide opportunities to volunteer, compete, and socialize with our Catholic student community. Everyone is welcome!

Our organization advocates on behalf of UNICEF: spreading awareness about the challenges children face around the world. From struggling every day to survive, going to school, or escaping conflict and disaster. We also fundraise on behalf of UNICEF Clubs: UNICEF has helped save more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization. They operate solely on voluntary donations. UNICEF Club at UMN will fundraise in support of children’s survival, access to safe water, nutrition, health care, and protection from violence, exploitation and abuse. On top of that, we volunteer in the community to help ensure that every child is safe, healthy and has access to a quality education. We also provide social activities and events for the membership.
