The Dental Social Club is a community-driven dental social club dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for dental, dental hygiene, dental therapy and all pre dental students. Our mission is to promote academic success, mental well-being, and camaraderie through engaging study nights, stress-relief activities like pickleball, and social events that enhance student life. We believe that balancing rigorous academics with meaningful connections and self-care is key to thriving in dental school. Through collaboration, encouragement, and shared experiences, we aim to create a welcoming space where every member feels valued and empowered on their journey to becoming a dental professional.

Mission
The mission of this organization is to support the pre-dental hygiene students and develop them academically as well as socially. We are committed to assisting the members to overcome the challenging process of finding their way into dental hygiene programs including through group learning, work experience, mentorship, and community service. Through this platform of shared information and experiences, the association targets supporting and encouraging the achievement of members as well as the promotion of oral health within and outside the university.

Joining the Pre-Dental Hygiene Club will be transformative for students pursuing a career as dental hygienists. The demanding academic path and small class size have discouraged many students from this rewarding profession. Our club aims to create a supportive community that addresses both academic and social challenges. We recognize the unique journey of pre-dental hygiene students and are committed to providing a collaborative environment where members can thrive. By addressing the rigorous course requirements and professional expectations together, we will help students feel less isolated and more empowered. Through targeted community outreach and responsive programming, we'll meet the diverse needs of our members. Our club will focus on essential academic support, hosting study groups tailored to the specific courses requested by our members. As the first dedicated space for pre-dental hygiene students on campus, we will act as a support network, a resource center, and a launching pad for future dental hygiene professionals. Together, we'll turn challenges into opportunities and transform individual struggles into collective success.
