We are the Arab Student Association and our goal is to create and maintain an environment that benefits Arab students and interested members of the community, and to promote an understanding of Arab history, culture, and heritage at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. We aim to forge an association where Arabs and non-Arabs alike can come together, without any outside political affiliations and/or influence. ASA will educate its members and the University community about the diverse Arab culture and foster awareness of ourselves as students, citizens, Arabs and active participants in our several communities, relations and community service.​

Bangladeshi Undergraduate Student Association Group is a cultural group for undergraduates from Bangladesh who seek to belong to a community where they can connect and share their beliefs and values, simultaneously their goals, ideas, and problems throughout their college years. Our aim as a cultural group is not only to belong somewhere but also to share our history, values, and culture among the undergraduate students on campus, which can be both a learning and fun experience to have. We welcome all prospective Bangladeshi students on campus and help them navigate their place in the community and campus, especially international students for whom it is their first time to be in a new place living alone which might affect them slowly or suddenly. We want to be there for them when they face these challenges. However, this club is not only for Bangladeshis to enjoy and belong to. It is open to everyone as it is a cultural club to experience and appreciate.

The Hellenic Student Association at the University of Minnesota! Since 1972, we have been dedicated to promoting and celebrating Hellenism in the Minnesota community through our various events and activities.

Mastering Meyer will allow students to study 16th Century Fencing Master Joachim Meyer, they will learn the history of the sword, and fencing, as well as learn how to fence themselves using Meyer's techniques. This will include study sessions, drills, and sparring sessions.

Welcome to the Minnesota Swim Club! We are dedicated to building a strong and competitive swimming culture at the University of Minnesota. The club is open to anyone with a history in competitive swimming, from short careers in high school or club teams and up. Whether you want to participate to meet new people, stay in shape, or even go best times, there is a place for you on MNSC!

During fall and spring semesters, we have 3 structured practices a week written by the officers (attendance not required), typically on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday nights. The first week consists of 3 free trial practices for potential members to see if the club is for them! We participate in meets at other universities, host a meet in the fall semester, and send qualified swimmers to the College Club Swimming National Championships spring semester. We also host a variety of social events throughout the year to get to know the team!

Mission
MinnesoTap is a student-run tap dance company at the University of Minnesota that provides an educational and artistic opportunity not currently offered by any of the university's programs, and promotes a cultural and historical awareness of one of the few truly American art forms.

We hold rehearsals twice a week and perform at events both on-campus and across the Twin Cities. We also host master classes, educate about tap history, and hold bonding events for members to get to know one another and create a supportive community outside of academics. All of our choreography is created by members, so our rehearsals are a great opportunity to try new tap styles and enhance technique.

University of Minnesota's Sigma Alpha Mu was founded in 1915. Since November of 1915 Sigma Alpha Mu - Kappa has been dedicated to forming lifelong connections within our brotherhood and community. We are also focused on maintaining close relationships with our rich history of alumni who look to provide each member the opportunity to make deeper connections with the history of Sigma Alpha Mu and its past.

Our mission is to support and promote mental health awareness and education within our community. We aim to raise funds for organizations that provide resources and services to those in need and to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health through advocacy and outreach initiatives. Through our efforts, we strive to empower individuals to prioritize their mental well-being and live fulfilling lives.

Our Goals
At our mental health philanthropy club, we recognize the importance of mental health and its impact on individuals and the community as a whole. We are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can freely discuss mental health topics, access reliable information, and connect with others who may share similar experiences.
One of our main goals is to raise funds for organizations that provide resources and services to those in need. We understand that many people may not have access to mental health care due to financial constraints or a lack of available resources. By supporting these organizations, we hope to provide more accessible and affordable mental health services to those who need them the most.
Another important aspect of our mission is to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health conversations. We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health and should be treated with the same level of care and attention. Through advocacy and outreach initiatives, we aim to educate and inform the community about the importance of mental health and to encourage individuals to seek help when they need it.
Finally, we strive to empower individuals to prioritize their mental well-being and live fulfilling lives. We believe that everyone has the potential to live a happy and healthy life, but this can only be achieved if we take care of our mental health. By promoting mental health awareness and education, we hope to inspire individuals to prioritize their mental well-being and seek help when they need it.


History
Our club was established in March 2023, stemming from a deep desire to promote mental health awareness and support those in need. The founding members were inspired to create a safe and supportive community after experiencing the loss of a dear friend to mental illness. They recognized the importance of providing resources and education about mental health, as well as offering a space for individuals to connect. Through our events, discussions, and outreach initiatives, we hope to break down the stigma surrounding mental health and empower individuals to prioritize their well-being. Our club is dedicated to honoring the memory of our friend and making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Who we are
Our club is comprised of passionate and dedicated student officers who are committed to promoting mental health awareness and supporting those in need. Our members come from diverse backgrounds and bring a range of experiences and perspectives to the table.
We believe that everyone has a role to play in the fight against mental illness and we welcome all individuals who share our mission to join us. There is no prior experience necessary to become a member, as we provide opportunities for our members to learn and grow together.
While there is no formal application process, we encourage interested individuals to attend our meetings and events to get a sense of our community and see if it aligns with their interests and goals. Our meetings are open to all and we welcome new members at any time throughout the year.

As the Turkish American Student Association, our main goal is to spread knowledge about the beautiful country of Turkey; our interesting customs and traditions, our broad history, the breathtaking natural and historical locations, and our delicious cuisine; through the best way we know, with hospitality. We host a variety of events for members of the university community to socialize, network, and celebrate Turkish culture.
Our group's central value is encouraging cultural diversity on campus by providing a space to celebrate Turkish culture. We are a place for anyone who has grown up with Turkish culture, or would like to experience it, to feel a piece of home away from their home, and to easily make long-lasting friends because of that shared experience. We are an especially important resource for helping first-year students get acclimated to the University, and most of our board members found their best friends through TASA.

ABOUT US
VSAM stands for the Vietnamese Student Association of Minnesota. VSAM's objective is to preserve and promote Vietnamese culture at the university. As a Vietnamese student organization, we provide opportunities to share Vietnamese culture, history, and traditions with students and the community at large. We seek to build and maintain partnerships with both the Vietnamese and university communities and to help students at Minnesota universities assimilate to college life.
EVENTS
VSAM hosts numerous events throughout the school year designed to provide our community with culture, engagement, education, and empowerment. We host events such as, Open House, A.C.E. Reveal, Tết Trung Thu, and Tết Show. Open House is an event where we showcase our organization to new and returning students through informative presentations, delicious Vietnamese food, and engaging activities. Our A.C.E. Reveal is an event catered towards VSAM's mentorship program where mentors and mentees are paired in order to create an everlasting bond. Our biggest event in the fall is our Tết Trung Thu (Mid-Autumn Festival) which is widely celebrated by Chinese and Vietnamese people. Our biggest event in the spring is our annual Tết Show which brings together over 100 volunteers to produce a show for our community here on campus in addition to the greater Vietnamese community in Minnesota.
MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE COMMUNITY
Our activities will incorporate many important aspects of Vietnamese culture to help educate those who are interested. We also strive to bring students and the community together to both learn and have fun. Our activities are NOT limited to only Vietnamese students, and students of other cultures are more than welcome to join. In this way, we hope to bring the community together as a whole.

Potential members can get involved with VSAM by attending any of our events. Additionally, members can stay up to date on our organization by following our Instagram profile, liking our Facebook page, or visiting our website. The Yelling for History Club is a student group at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities which hosts fun historical roleplaying megagames where players immerse themselves in the personalities of key characters during pivotal events of world history, for the purposes of entertainment and education. It’s like DND with less dice, but more roleplaying! We believe that immersion in these historical scenarios provides context and an enhanced understanding of the time period, as well as allowing students to view the relevant issues from the perspective of those who were involved in the controversies and debates. In addition to historical immersion, these games allow players to sharpen their public speaking skills, as well as utilize their analytical and research abilities.
