Mission
Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) club at the University of Minnesota is part of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers Minnesota Chapter, which is nationwide grassroots nonprofit organization that gives current and potential hunters & anglers attending the University a foundation to enrich their conservation mindset and become active in civic engagement as it relates to public lands, waters, and wildlife. BHA gives aspiring hunter and anglers attending the University the tools and knowledge necessary to obtain a license and to hunt or fish safely, legally and ethically. Our goal is to connect University students to Backcountry Hunters & Anglers chapters to grow the BHA community, recognizing BHA's youthful energy is key to fostering the next generation of conservation-minded hunter, anglers and public land advocates.



The club will conduct meetings once a month during the academic year. The time and locations are to be determined, but will be announced through email. Anyone who wants to receive more information, they can contact Matteo Bellazzini at uminnesotabha@backcountryhunters.org. Anyone interested in becoming a member can obtain membership form via email.

Emphasizing the sense of community and adequate oral health within younger generations, Children's Dental Health Advocates (CDHA) drives to raise awareness about the importance of oral healthcare specifically to the lower income students that go to elementary schools in the inner-cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Through fun activities and events hosted by our members, volunteering from our club as a whole, donation of dental supplies, enjoyable educational videos, and so much more. Our mission is to showcase the importance of oral health care especially at a young age, while establishing meaningful relationships and fun memories with the youth!

Some other activities include:
- Tooth brush tally competition between each classroom. This is where we give kids in each classroom at an elementary school a tally chart for each day they brush and floss. The most tallies from a classroom and their students, that classroom will be the winner amongst all the other classrooms and win prizes!
- Host community wide painting/ drawing competition between different elementary schools and their students. Winner will recieve dental supplies and cute awards!
- Have fundraising stands, and events up to help raise money!

The College Democrats of America represents thousands of college students across the United States and territories. Our mission is to organize on college campuses across the nation in order to get Democrats elected in local, state, and federal elections. Our over 100,000 members are leaders at their schools, in their communities, and all over their states, all while maintaining their studies. The College Democrats of America seek to advocate for issues that affect young people. We aim to increase youth voter turnout in every state. Nationally, we represent college students in the Democratic Party.

The Beta Eta chapter of Delta Tau Delta is a place for leaders to hone their skills, youths to grow, students to find support and guidance, and men to find their paths to a life of excellence. With 140 years of guiding men at the University of Minnesota via Truth, Courage, Faith, and Power, the Delt experience has fostered innovators, advocates, change agents, and community leaders by affecting the world through self-discovery.

Delt fosters connections among its undergraduate members with social events such as brotherhoods, tailgates, date exchanges, and so on. Members are exposed to resources to assure personal growth and maturity while at the U.

Undergraduate men at the University of Minnesota who are interested in becoming a member of Delta Tau Delta can reach out to chapter president Vasili Nicklow at nickl093@umn.edu or chapter director of recruitment Jaron Osman at osman419@umn.edu.

The Beta Eta chapter helps guide its members towards lives of excellence in their post-collegiate careers. From the beginning of their time at Delt, new members are connected to resources, such as older members in similar majors, to make sure that they are in good standing academically. The members of Delta Tau Delta thrive when it comes to academics, sporting a house GPA of 3.40 in the Fall of 2022. New members are also given ample opportunity to become a leader within the house. Whether it's holding an executive position, working directly under an executive member, or finding ways to lead among their class of new members, all new Delts are encouraged to take on leadership positions. The growth experienced by members while in their time as an undergraduate as well as the connections to the professional field through our alumni network assures that all members of the Beta Eta chapter leave the U ready to take on the challenges posed by the workforce.

Mission
The mission of the National Society of Black Engineers is "to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community".

Principle Activities, Events, and Programs
Our purpose of activities and events is to provide academic, personal, and professional resources to assist students in their development and encourage students to consider careers in the science and engineering fields. These activities help benefit the University community by increasing the number of successful black students in STEM. It also brings awareness to youth about the University of Minnesota and possible higher STEM education at the University. We host company information sessions, professional development workshops, study nights, and more! We also attend our annual Fall Regional Conference and National NSBE Convention held in the Spring that members are highly encouraged to apply to and attend.

How to get involved with NSBE
You can get involved with NSBE by attending the events we host (Follow our Instagram @nsbe_umntc for more info), signing up for our weekly newsletter, and becoming an official member through completing our General Membership Application.

How does your group support the personal health and wellness of its members?
We hold at least 1 de-stress event each semester, typically around finals time for our members to take a break from studying and practice self-care.

Mission
To promote freedom and human rights in Tibet while raising young leaders at the University of Minnesota. Through education, hands-on experience, and grassroots organizing, SFTUMN will work to bring Tibetan issues and political prisoners to the forefront of every platform possible. This group aims to provide every member with the education and skills to become youth leaders in the worldwide movement for social justice for Tibetans and other occupied peoples.

Members of our organization will get to network and meet with other students interested in the Free Tibet movement. Also being a chapter of a larger organization, our members would be immediately connected to many other chapter members also involved and be involved in a large grassroots organization.

As the Youth Studies Co-op, we like to plan events for the school of social work, like panels, study nights, etc! We also are very social-justice oriented. We have planned protests in the past, and we are hoping to create events that will bring awareness to things going on in our world.
